HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO INSTALL AN EV CHARGER WITH YÜ CHARGE?
The cost of your installation with Yü Charge will vary depending on your chosen charger, grants you have applied for and any complications that arise during your installation, such as extra cabling needed.
We will always do our best anticipate any additional costs and to honour the price quoted to you, with no hidden charges. If we do run into any complications that may incur extra fees, we will discuss this with you and reach a conclusion together.

WHICH TYPE OF EV CHARGER DO I NEED FOR MY HOME OR BUSINESS?

CAN I INSTALL MY ELECTRIC CAR CHARGER MYSELF?
No – EV chargers can only be installed by qualified electricians. Our Yü Charge installers are expertly trained to install your EV charger in line with UK Smart Charging regulations, they will also apply for authorisation from the DNO (Distribution Network Operator) on your behalf, as is required by law.
CAN I HAVE AN EV CHARGER INSTALLED AT MY HOME IF I RENT MY PROPERTY?
Yes – you will need your landlord’s permission, as well as off-street parking, but you will be able to apply for a grant through the government’s OZEV scheme to help you with the cost of installation, which we will then factor into your installation quote.
