FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IS IT WORTH HAVING AN EV CHARGER INSTALLED AT HOME?

Home charging is quickly becoming one of the most popular methods of charging for EV drivers. By having an EV charger installed in your home, you can charge your vehicle overnight, with the peace of mind that comes with knowing you never need to go far to find a charger.

With home charging, you can also take advantage of cheaper rates, by charging your vehicle during off-peak times when your energy may be cheaper, such as throughout the night.

SHOULD I GET A TETHERED OR UNTETHERED EV CHARGER?

The choice is yours! Many people opt for the convenience of a tethered charger, as they don’t need to carry a cable around with them, however others prefer the more minimalistic look of an untethered charger.

If you choose a tethered EV charger, make sure you check it is compatible with your vehicle first.

IF I HAVE TWO EVS, DO I NEED TO HAVE TWO EV CHARGERS INSTALLED?

Not necessarily. The average mileage driven each day means that your vehicle does not require a full charge every nightFor example, 40 miles of range will require about 2 hours of charging with a dedicated charge pointIf you have more than one vehicle to charge it is easy to alternate charging sessions between vehicles.
